For the last couple of weeks we have been investigating metadata binding issues reported by some users. Today, we were able to get to the bottom of the issue. In simple terms, systems that received the Apple ProKit were affected. The update apparently changed the way files are named and renamed on remote devices.

We implemented a fix in response to this issue and hope that Apple and the Final Cut Server team can address the issue on their end in an upcoming update.
