MediaSilo, in conjunction with AMC Networks, officially launched TechHops, an event exclusively for tech operations execs working in media and entertainment. On June 22th, in a bustling Manhattan bar, SVPs, Managers and Directors of Operations from companies like Showtime, A&E, and HBO came together to commiserate and learn a thing or two from their peers.

Joshua Berger, SVP of Media Management at AMC Networks acted as toastmaster and emcee while his colleague Marc Gatto (VP, Media Logistics & Operational Systems) took center stage to riff on the unique challenges facing operations staff in media and entertainment..

As Gatto noted:  "If you can leave both sides just a little bit pissed off, you’ve done your job".

After Gatto's statements, the group took to networking, drinking a few cold ones and chowing down.
