MediaSilo and Final Cut Server Take Over Chi-Town

February 5th, 2010

On February 24th MediaSilo in collaboration with MacSpecialist, Chicago Final Cut Pro User Group, and the Apple store will continue the MediaSilo | Final Cut Server Road Show. This special event will not only bring together MediaSilo and the Chicago Final Cut Pro User Group, but is open to the public as well. This, dare we say … SUPER, monthly user group meeting will be absolutely free to the public. The event will be from 6PM-9PM and will be JAM packed with speakers, refreshments, and raffles. Our very own Stephanie Joyce will be presenting MediaSilo, Kevin Shea from MacSpecialist will speak about Final Cut Server, and word on the street there will also be a presentation from Sony and one other mystery guest. So if you are at all interested in video, production, collaboration, management, or anything Final Cut related, this event was made for you. More to come on the agenda.

For now, all you need to know is … Apple Store, North Michigan Ave, February 24th, 6PM-9PM – be there!

Final Cut Server Unveiled

August 3rd, 2009

Our event on Friday night was a hit! For those of you who didn’t hear about it, MediaSilo and Jon Rutherford from MacProfessionals held the first Final Cut Server Demystified event at the Boylston Street Apple store in Boston, MA. As always the Apple Store was extremely accommodating, but we must also extend our thanks to Dan Berube from BOSFCPUG and Alex and Benjamin from Future Media Concepts. Dan filmed the entire event and will soon be posting it on bosfcpug.org – so you too can learn about Final Cut Server. We raffled off two Elgato Turbo H.264 HD’s AND a Final Cut Server 101 2-day training session through Future Media Concepts. We couldn’t have made this event happen without the support of the entire production community. We hope soon to take this event to other Apple stores nationwide. Have an interest or some feedback? Drop us a line at info@mediasilo.com.
