NOTE: Users using Sorenson
Squeeze will get an error message “Upload Failed” when trying to upload
to MediaSilo. This is related to the @ sign in the user name field. We
are working with Sorenson to resolve this issue and will post updates
in the Knowledgebase. In the meantime, contact us at
support@mediasilo.com and we will modify your FTP username. Visit our Knowledgebase for additional information.

New Feature: FTP Upload

June 4th, 2008

We are happy to announce the Beta release of the MediaSilo FTP uploader which lets users upload files up to 2GB in size. Using an FTP program, users can upload files that automatically appear inside the “FTP Dropbox” in MediaSilo. Video files appear via thumbnail in MediaSilo and automatically get optimized for collaboration or web-broadcast.
The FTP upload feature is still in Beta but we have decided to open it up to all MediaSilo users. Please post your feedback or any questions you may have here or send email to support@mediasilo.com.
